In this video - taken Summer (February) 2023 - I meet a friend at Lake Rotoiti, for his first ride around the lake. No wind, glassy conditions, with light drizzle and light cloud. Made for an enjoyable ride. Still in the break in period on my new SEA-DOO RXP, so it was great to have a blast around the lake, with minimal other boats on the water.
Follow us as we discover notable spots like Gorilla Rock, known for its exhilarating cliff jumps, and admire the beautiful lakeside houses. We encounter eerie low clouds over the lake, creating a unique atmosphere for our adventure. Witness the tranquil beauty of Lake Rotoiti with its glassy waters and minimal boat traffic.
Our journey also takes us to the hot pools, where we enjoy a refreshing dip and capture stunning aerial shots using our drone. We encounter the Harbor Master, who kindly checks our documentation, including our boat numbers, ensuring a safe and compliant experience.
