I hope you are excited and ready to learn how to crochet. Today is the big day! After watching my video, you will be well on your way to becoming a crochet whiz.
I've crocheted since I was 9, so if I can do it, YOU can do it!
It's really easy to do, but make sure to just keep practicing if anything feels awkward.

Yippee! Okay, without further ado, let's get started.
1. Grab a hook - I'm using a size US H today, but you could go with a G or an I or whatever you have available.
2. Grab some yarn - I'm using a worsted weight yarn in the video. This refers to the thickness of the yarn. Don't get anything too crazy or bulky or furry or you won't be able to see your stitches and it will just confuse you. So start with a simple yarn, in a color of your choice. 3. Let's start crocheting!!
You'll learn how to:
-Work a slip knot. Easy.
-Create a chain, which is the foundation on which you'll build your crochet piece.
-Do a single crochet. (SIDE NOTE! These are AMERICAN instructions... if you're in the UK or elsewhere outside the US or find a UK pattern, crochet terms are a bit different. Just so ya know.)
