Louis' spiritual journey began at
Louis' spiritual journey began at the age of 21, while attending the University of Connecticut; during a guided meditation (death trance ritual) Louis experienced a somatic memory of his birth. This experience opened a portal through which a Voice directed him to break his engagement, quit the university, get rid of any possessions (except for his car), get in is car and "head West." This led to an odyssey of sorts that led Louis eventually to a graduate school in San Francisco. Here he met a saint by the name of Rina Sircar, a tiny woman from Burma who was teaching a class in Buddhist Studies. The purpose of this meeting was to receive his destiny from Rina. This triggered a long struggle, a very dark journey, what is sometimes called the dark night of the soul, a 21-year journey of healing and transformation. Only now, at 72, can Louis fully grasp the full measure of this destiny, now manifesting at his teaching center and eco resort in the Andean highlands of Ecuador.
The journey from the age of 33 to 66 included 4 deaths, one an actual near-death experience. Each of these deaths were critical to his destiny, that Louis might die over and over again to what he now calls "interference patterns." Louis teaches a program of Conscious Living, which involves a variety of Conscious Dying experiences.
Louis has published a number of books/e-books, via Lulu.com, a self-publishing online enterprise (his offerings are listed under his name: Louis Bourgeois. Louis does not currently have a website (looking for help in this regard), rather he uses several Facebook pages to showcase his teaching center (The OASIS Center for Conscious Living: Ecuador), eco resort (The OASIS Eco Lodge), spiritual teaching (Sun King Speaks and another: The Tao of Mastery)...he can be reach also via his personal email: [email protected] or via Facebook Messenger. He offers a 3-month internship for those interested in his Conscious Living program, and this internship can be on site or online.
