At Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. 4 cubs have survived after the attack of elephant. They are now 2 weeks old. The mother has to take care of them at least for another 2 weeks away from the pride. She is starving. Then, a herd of elephants is back again. The mother takes 4 hours to move 3 cubs to a new hideout which is 5 kilometers away. But the 4th cub is not there. The mother goes back to her pride to hunt impala to fill her stomach. The 4th lion is isolated alone. The mother hasn’t come to see him for 4 days. Did she give up on him? And here comes the rain. The 4th cub is gone. The rangers go out to search him but cannot find him. What happened?
This is a remake of the episode aired on Amazing Animals in June 2005.
