Eurorack Basics: What is Eurorack?

Eurorack is a form of modular synthesis, where you build up a synthesizer in modules. In this video I give a basic overview of Eurorack. Eurorack allows you to build a synth that meets your needs exactly, and allows you to forever expand and modify your instrument.  

Every feature of a synth (VCO's, VCF's, VCA's, DCO's, LFO's, Effects, etc) is broken up into separate modules that you connect with patch cables. Companies put their own spin on each feature, or combine them, giving you thousands of different modules to choose from. You can build a 'normal' synth, or build a self generating synthesizer that creates music on its own, there is almost no limit.
