"How To Disappear" (Demon) by gecko0 | Geometry Dash 2.11

gecko0 has been making some really unique levels in recent times, often accompanied by a Radiohead song. Unfortunately, this makes it less accessible for players, especially considering that few Newgrounds songs work well as a replacement, but it's a fun watch nonetheless. If you are able to change the song, though, it can be worth trying out. For this one in particular, the length is nearly 6 minutes long, which is also worth considering before playing it. Personally, it's a bit too long to be enjoyable to play for me.

I mentioned his levels being unique, and that is closely tied with the song choice. "How to Disappear Completely" is a song with some slow and drawn-out sections near the start, which doesn't seem to lend itself well to a Geometry Dash level. The same can be said for the parts with vocals in general. However, I'd say gecko0 did a great job of making this level visually engaging despite this. There are many cool effects in the background that synchronize well to the song, regardless of how slow or fast it gets. On top of that, there are solid block designs and decorations as I've come to expect from him. Some are also very interesting in structure, such as the part at 2:17 which uses messiness to stand out well. Finally, I really like the consistent color scheme consisting of white and some subtle shades of blue.
