৯৫ শতাংশ আফিম উৎপাদনই বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে আফগানিস্তানে । আফগানিস্তানের বর্তমান তালেবান সরকারের অবস্থা
তালেবান ক্ষমতায় আসার পর আফগানিস্তানে প্রায় পুরোপুরি বন্ধের পথে আফিম উৎপাদন। ২হাজার একুশ শালে ক্ষমতা গ্রহণের পরের বছরই পপি চাষ নিষিদ্ধ করে তালেবান সরকার। ফলে দেশটিতে এখন পচানব্বোই শতাংশ আফিম উৎপাদনই বন্ধ হয়ে গেছে বলে জানিয়েছে জাতিসংঘ। গত রোববার প্রকাশিত খবর আলজাজিরার এক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য উঠে এসেছে।
