We wanted the 25"x25" because it can cut 12"x24" tiles. This could eliminate the use of a wet tile saw, which is a time saver. Also the Masterpiuma can cut glass tiles with the use of the Mosakit rubber mat. The mat prevents glass tiles from slipping and the white paint from chipping. We tested the cutting capability of this tile cutter and showed how it can cut a 1/4" slice off 2"x2" tiles as well as a 1/2" cut off 12" tiles. It easily makes 45 degree cuts in tile.
