Traveling from Las Vegas back to Southern California after a weekend of fun can be a nightmare.  Long, bumper-to-bumper traffic getting over the mountains.  A stretch of Interstate that normally takes about ninety minutes, On Sundays can take you hours...  

But there is an alternative.  A "secret" backroad that is a little more scenic has much less congestion and will keep you moving....  Here is a look at that little-known route thru Topeca to Baker, California
