Here is what I do when I cant access my wifi on my Windows 8 Laptop. Mine is a NV76R23u
How to Reset Your Bios for Windows 8 Laptop
1. Restart your Laptop
2. Once the screen goes black, alternately click F1 and F2 until the BIOS page appears.
3. Click Enter
4. Click F9
5. Click Enter
6. Click F10
7. Click Enter
8. Your Laptop should restart and your Wifi should be back to normal.
