Pakistani police in Rawalpindi arrested Shah Mahmood Qureshi, one of the deputies of convicted former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He was arrested under a law that allows authorities to detain anyone to maintain law and order in the country.
A video showed police pushing Qureshi toward an armored vehicle as he shouted that he was being arrested unjustly.
