தேங்காய் ரொட்டி செய்முறை/ coconut cookies recipe in tamil/ coconut cookies without oven/snacks items

This video shows how to make coconut cookies / thengai roti at home. Coconut cookies / thengai roti is most of our childhood favourite snacks item. To make this coconut cookies we need just three ingredients. We are going to prepare this coconut cookies using pressure cooker.

METHOD:
In a bowl add 1/4 cup of melted butter. Add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
Beat it till sugar dissolves, if required add 2 spoons of boiled milk.
Then add 1 cup of maida, 1/2 spoon baking powder and 1/2 cup of grated coconut.
Give a good mix and knead as soft dough.
Then take a small portion of dough and make coconut cookies as shown in the video.
Place all the cookies in butter greased plate. Keep aside for five minutes.
Meanwhile pre heat the cooker. Then place a stand inside the cooker.
Place the cookies plate. Then close with lid, without gas cut and whistle.
Keep the flame in low and cook for 40 minutes.
(time may differ depending on cooker size, so after 30 minutes check it once)
Now our coconut cookies prepared in cooker are ready for tasting...
