Grand Princess Cruise to New Zealand Day 9: Port Day - Tauranga @Curacha Gomez

Join us for a relaxing port day in Tauranga for the 9th day of our Grand Princess Cruise to New Zealand. Our excursion began with a leisurely walk along the Pilot Bay Beach followed by a hike around Mount Maunganui, then on to Maunganui Beach. We then stopped for ice cream cones at the Copenhagen Cones, where they hand-make their waffle cones right before your eyes. After a short stop at Coronation Park, we walked along Maunganui Rd for some shopping before heading back to the Grand Princess to enjoy more of the surrounding views of the beach, the bay and the mountain from the ship. The excellent Thanksgiving dinner at Michelangelo Dining room was followed by one of the most hilarious and entertaining act that we have ever seen, a perfect ending to another wonderful day of cruising.
