Hello everyone and welcome to my channel and in this video today we will see how to find archived messages on WhatsApp.

When you archive a message on WhatsApp then the chat is hidden from the chat list. This will help you to organize the chat list.

The other thing is when you archive a chat the chat is hidden only. It does not get deleted or not it is backed up in google drive or iCloud.

1. To archive a chat you will simply hold the chat and select the chat conversation.
2. Tap on this icon to archive the chat.
3. Now to find the archived chat, swipe the screen to the top.
4. At bottom you will see how many chats you have archived.
5. Tap on it.
6. You will see all the archived chat.
7. To unarchive the chat, tap and hold the chat to select the chat.
8. Now tap on this button to unarchive the chat.
9. Also if you want, you can manually archive the chat by searching the name of the person in the search box.
10. eg. Mitthu.
11. You will see the person’s name.
12. Tap and hold the contact for sometime.
13. Then select “Unarchive chat”.
14. Also if you have archived a chat and if the person sends you a message then the chat will be automatically unarchived.
