Lake Garda - West Coast Ride (Italy) - Indoor Cycling Training

The West Coast of Lake Garda consists of steep cliffs with jaw-dropping lake views. Often the cliffs of the lake are so steep that you have to go through tunnels and galleries to get to the next viewpoint. The ride starts along the waterfront in Maderno. Maderno is a pleasant town from where you can take the ferry to the East Coast of Lake Garda. As you leave the waterfront, you head for the main road. Lake Garda is a popular holiday destination, so expect a very busy road. One-third into the ride, you get to the longest climb on the ride. It is a moderate climb with a slope of 3-4 percent. As you get to Riva del Garda, you can continue the ride by doing our East Coast ride, which takes you to Torri del Benaco. From here, one can take the ferry back to Maderno.
