Rey Hernandez, director of the Consciousness and Contact Research Institute (CCRI), an academic research institute whose mission is to explore the relationship between consciousness research and the phenomenology of “paranormal experiences”, presented a talk titled "Towards a Unified Theory of Consciousness and the Contact Modalities" as part of "Archives of the Impossible: Transnationalism, Transdisciplinarity, Transcendence." The May 11-13, 2023 international conference at Rice University featured speakers and panelists who set out to demystify the paranormal through their research and experiences regarding metaphysics, UFOs and much more. In 2018, Hernandez and a team of retired academics published an 820-page book, "Beyond UFOs: The Science of Consciousness and Contact with Non-Human Intelligence", which was the world’s first and only comprehensive worldwide academic statistical research study on UFO Contact Experiencers. Over 4,300 individuals participated from over 125 countries. Hernandez has also published in several peer-reviewed academic journals, including the Journal of the International Academy of Consciousness and the Journal of the Society for Scientific Exploration. He has recently published five new books as part of a series titled “A GREATER REALITY: The New Paradigm of Nonlocal Consciousness, the Paranormal and the Contact Modalities.” His most recent book is titled, “The Mind of GOD: A Spiritual-Virtual Reality Model of Consciousness and the Contact Modalities.” Learn more about the Archives of the Impossible: impossiblearchives.rice.edu/
