Case in point: her career as a straight actress, sans screwball and singing. Day's own Arwin Productions were behind Julie, a thriller that sees Day starring as a stewardess being relentlessly stalked by her husband (Louis Jourdan). Widowed young, Julie Benton (Day) remarries, only to discover that her new husband just might have killed her old husband. And is more than willing to kill again if anything comes between him and Julie. Fleeing his relentless pursuit, Julie thinks she has found sanctuary in the air but Husband Lyle has other plans. From noted suspense auteur Andrew L. Stone, with title track sung by Ms. Day herself. First time on DVD!
