MLC SPG Description

The SPG light curtain from Leuze – SPG: Smart Process Gating – is a patented safety light curtain with integrated muting that allows you to do muting without requiring inputs from muting sensors. You only need a control signal to the light curtain from your PLC.
The entire muting solution is certified by TUV and can achieve up to PL e safety rating.
What is Muting? – Temporary automatic bypass of the light curtain’s protective function to allow for the passage of transport materials while restricting access to people.
