In this episode I install dividing panels for the compartments between frames C4.5 and C5 (the main bulkhead). At the same time I work on the ventilation system for the boat. By placing the vent in the cabin lower down, I ensure that water can’t free flow from outside to inside no matter what position the boat is in, sideways, upside down, etc. I also design the ventilation channels to have a U bend so that water is trapped and exits through a small drain in the system.
