Join George and John as they discuss and debate different Philosophical ideas. Today they will be looking at David Hume’s Is-Ought Problem. This is a problem within Metaethics which highlights the gap between what is and what ought to be. How can non moral natural facts about the world (what is) tell us how we should act (what ought to be). Is there a gap in our moral reasoning, are we too quick to deduce moral behaviour based on natural facts about the world? Is it right to agree that what is, should not tell us what ought to be?
