Donkey Daily Handling Exercises

Bertie is our 9mth old Jack Donkey.  When he arrived he did not like contact & would either run away or flinch if we got close enough to try and touch him...check out how clicker training is changing him!

Daily Handling exercises with him has made him become a much more relaxed, happy individual, who is starting to LOVE human interaction.

I have also found that these stand at liberty daily handling exercises have also created relaxed, calm and balanced state of minds..ready to do some awesome clicker work.
Once the individual is happy with these regular handling sessions though, the duration spent on this exercise is greatly decreased..but the 'stand in postion' will be increased and more distance will be added to this behaviour.

A calm stand should then become the individuals default behaviour when out and about chatting to people:)
