Prayer to invoke and call
Prayer to invoke and call upon the protection and light of Michael the Archangel.
When we recite this, this mighty angel of God is instantly with us. This Archangel is working to help us all to remember our True Nature as children of God. We are all loved by Michael, and the ones who call upon him know the power and love that this magnificent being of spirit and light displays for those who call to him. God bless you all, and may the light of our Creator shine upon us all.
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens, "It has come at last--salvation and power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down --the one who accuses them before our God day and night.
