Basically, what's been happening, is that the unlock aspect of car alarm system has stopped working, resulting in me having to use the physical key to get into the vehicle. Afterwhich, I would have to press unlock on the key fob to disarm the alarm, which would then allow me to start the car. As you can imagine, that can become quite annoying. Due to there being no solution to the problem, after speaking to the manufacturer on several occasions about it, I've decided to remove this system and re-install the other car alarm system I installed prior to this one.
