This video Catcher: Catching Strength Drills is being coached by Mike Lebo. Fantastic workout for core strength as a catcher. The first couple of catcher drills are with a 5 pound weight and a medicine ball which is 10 pounds. There is another catcher drill that has Shawn doing a duck walk with the medicine ball above his head. These drills will help with your catching core strength.
The catcher drill has Shawn shuffling side to side with the medicine ball above his head. The next catcher drill is him framing the ball with a 5 pound weight above his head. After he is finishing with that drill, he will go into detail of pop time catcher drill with a weight again. To finish the lesson he works with the coach with working on catcher balance drill on his back foot with one and two hop drills. I hope you enjoy the video. Thank you for watching.
