People today are mostly interested in finding alternate energy sources as they prefer going Off-Grid. As seen by the growing trend, we can confirm that people are clearly turning to solar power as the best alternative energy source, As majority of them need to disconnect them self off from the grid, they are seeking for hybrid and off-grid solar energy solutions. On-Grid solar trend has gone down compared to to past years.
Unlike the On-Grid inverters most Off-Grid inverters comes with a set of Cooling Fans. Only the high end inverters with IP65 rating has a fan free design. Fans on most electronic devices adds positive and negative points to the device. Any device with a cooling fan is a dust sucker. The combination of dust and moisture breaks the Off-Grid inverter very quickly.
As a solution several companies has introduced dust filters. Some are universal and can be connected externally. Anyhow, finding filters and replacements material in the local market isn't that easy.
The dust filter solution that I have shared in todays video is very simple. It is the lowest cost dust filter that you can have for your Off-Grid inverter. Yet it is 99% practical.
Checkout the video so you will know how effective it is. Furthermore, I have demonstrated how to install the Dust Filter on the Off-Grid Inverter.
The purpose of the video was information sharing, hence preserving the video's quality was not a priority. The information in this video should be sufficient for you to install your own dust filter for the off-grid inverter. I use the same method for both my Yamaha receiver and my NAS (Network Access Storage).
If you live in a roadside or for some reason if you feel your expensive sophisticated electronic devices need protection from dust you could try this method. If not, you can make my method better by adding new things to it.
ITEMS REQUIRED FOR THE DUST FILTER
* One Surgical Mask
* Masking Tape or any other similar tape with glue on it
* pair of scissors
DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU THINK IT WILL DISTROY THE LOOK OF YOUR INVERTER.
