Comparative Weaving Software #3- Fabric Analysis & Block Substitution
This video is intended for users of weaving software who want to explore 2 dimentional drafting design and block substitution with the most common weaving software programs.
It will walk through the same basic process of using the Fabric Analysis to create a profile draft (a simple butterfly)  and using block substitution to convert it to a weavable thread draft.
It demonstrates this pattern entry on Fiberworks PCW (Mac & Windows), Weave-It Pro (Windows), Pixeloom (Mac & Windows), Quickdraw,  and WinWeef (all Windows).  This does not include TempoWeave nor the Handweaving.net Draft Editor since they do not (yet) provide fabric analysis functions)
