After failing to defend five runs off the last ball against the defending champions Mumbai Indians Women in the curtain-raiser.
The Meg Lanning-led crew smashed the Warriorz by 9 wickets in another one-sided affair. Marizanne Kapp destroyed the UP-based franchise's top order with a magical new ball spell before Radha Yadav dismantled the lower middle order to restrict the Alyssa Healy-led unit to 119/9 in 20 overs.
As expected Lanning and Shafali Verma amassed half-centuries to take the team home with plenty of overs in hand though the Delhi-based franchise lost their skipper within touching distance of the target. Which franchise will keep their winning run going? With two successive victories.
