We head out at the peak of summer, fly fishing a high country cutthroat trout stream in ultra-low water. Many of the trout have dropped downstream to find higher flows. In this video we share how we hunt the trout that have stuck around in these flows - looking at trout habitats in ultra-low flows. We share how to read trout water, what flies we use, how long our leaders are, and how to approach and cast to these trout to have the best chance of success.
