The video shows an exercise of 3 Leopard 1 main battle tanks firing live at the Klietz training area. Between the exercise phases, Generalleutnant Andreas Marlow explains some of the elements of the exercise and its participants.
Lieutenant General Andreas Marlow is commander of the German units of the Multinational Corps / Basic Military Organization. He is thus responsible for the implementation of the subordinate element ST-C (Special Training Command) of EUMAM (European Union Military Assistance Mission Ukraine). The ST-C maps the training in Germany, while the CAT-C (Combined Arms Training Command) directs the training in Poland and other EU countries. The training of the Ukrainians lasts between 1 and 6 weeks and depends on the specific needs. If local combat is required, local combat is trained. If fight in the forest is required, fight in the forest is trained. In addition, technical training for maintenance and repair work takes place. The training period is very short, but the Ukrainians are willing to learn and can therefore be trained well under time pressure.
