Visiting Ho Chi Minh City's aquarium fish market was an absolute must-do experience. It's always fascinating to observe how aquarium markets operate around the world.

The market itself was bustling with activity, with numerous shipments coming in and going out. Ho Chi Minh City has more scooters and motorcycles than anywhere else in the world, making it incredibly busy with drivers weaving through the streets, creating a cacophony of noise.

Despite the tanks being overcrowded and under-filtered, the fish appeared to be generally healthy. There was a wide variety of fish for sale, including Asian arowana, discus, GMOs, and tetras.

Compared to other markets like those in Guangzhou and Thailand, this market isn't very large; it spans just a single street. However, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in authenticity and local charm.
As for equipment, there wasn't much in terms of
European brands like Tetra, Sera, Eheim, or JBL, but there were plenty of Chinese brands available, especially Sebo and others like Sun Sun. This reflects the market's focus on affordability and accessibility for local hobbyists.

Nevertheless, it was a beautiful experience and a great opportunity to learn about the local fish industry.
