Box Jellyfish Season is here y'all!

Most people don't even know that we have box jellyfish in Hilton Head, but we sure do! Box jellyfish are the only jellyfish that are actually able to swim (up to 4mph!) and they also have eyes. A sting from these guys can lead to cardiac arrest, so please be careful when you're swimming! Luckily, they avoid the surf, so they are not at the beaches as much as they are found in the marsh.
