Welcome back! In today’s video, we embark on an exciting journey to restore a classic timepiece – the iconic 1989 Rolex GMT-Master, equipped with the renowned Caliber 3075 movement.
🔧 Restoration Overview:
This vintage Rolex GMT-Master came to us with a few issues, but we’re here to bring it back to its former glory. From the initial assessment to the intricate restoration process, join us as we dive deep into the heart of this beautiful watch.
🕰️ Problems Encountered:
Case and Bezel: A secret was done by the previous watchmaker under the bezel.
Dial and Hands: The hands are not set the correct way.
Crystal: The crystal was scratched, affecting the clarity of the watch face.
🔨 Restoration Process:
Disassembly: We carefully disassemble the watch, separating each component for individual inspection and cleaning.
Movement Overhaul: Our expert watchmaker meticulously cleans, lubricates, and adjusts the Caliber 3075, ensuring it runs smoothly and accurately.
Crystal Replacement: A brand new crystal is fitted to provide a clear view of the watch face.
Reassembly and Testing: After reassembling the watch, we conduct rigorous testing to ensure it meets Rolex’s high standards of performance and precision.
