The Gallagher brothers were the only constant members of the band throughout its existence. Oasis was one of the most successful bands of the 1990s. They released seven studio albums, all of which were commercial successes. Their debut album, Definitely Maybe, was released in 1994 and became the fastest-selling debut album in British history. Their second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, was released in 1995 and is considered one of the greatest albums of all time.
The documentary was produced by Classic Rock Productions, a UK-based company that specializes in music documentaries and DVDs. The documentary was directed by Bob Carruthers, who is also a writer, producer, and musician. He has directed and written many documentaries on various rock bands and artists, such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Metallica, and more. The documentary was released in 2006 to coincide with the 12th anniversary of the release of Definitely Maybe.
