If you’ve been scrolling through TikTok, chances are you’ve seen the trend of cloud ceiling lights popping up all over the place. This DIY project is easy enough to do and requires minimal supplies. All you need is LED light strings, a foam sheet, and scissors.
First, you’ll want to measure the space in your ceiling where you want your cloud to be and then cut the foam sheet to fit. Make sure to leave enough room to hang your LED light strings.
Once the foam sheet is cut, begin to attach the LED lights. Start by cutting a slit in the foam sheet and threading the light string through it. Secure the lights in place using hot glue or tape.
Once the lights are in place, it’s time to give your cloud a 3D effect. Use scissors to cut curved shapes into the foam sheet.
