Shot on summer 2014, the movie presents a 10-day expedition with the Hooké tribe. In the most Northern parts of Quebec and Labrador, the team flew over mountain ranges, falls and canyons in search of Atlantic salmons and Arctic chars. The final result is a 30-minute film presenting the best fly-fishing action, breathtaking landscapes of Ungava Bay and high quality aerial footage from the Torngats mountain range and the polar bear country.
About HookéHooké comes from the initiative of a group of French Canadians with a passion for fly-fishing, video and design. From the beginning, the project was meant to promote a fresh vision of fly-fishing and outdoor activities via films and clothing. Hooké’s goal is to introduce a new audience to the universe of fly-fishing by sharing its adventures on modern media and various platforms. Our trips are all about exploring new places with our friends while having the time of our life, because we want more fishermen and more kids on the rivers, enjoying the fly-fishing vibes as we do and making the most of what the outdoors has to offer.
