Kūlolo

Kūlolo is a traditional treat along side of haupia.  Growing up in Hawaii, my dad used to grate the kalo and added coconut milk and brown sugar mix it together and pour it in a cracker can. Then when time to cook it he put it in the imu a Hawaiian underground style of cooking.  So its been years since I’ve made some.  My father in law always used to make it and I should’ve watched him do it because my daughter kept telling me to put them in the foil and wrap them and place it in the steamer.  I no like listen haha.  Hope you guys try it out and mahalo for watching!
