Amina Laraki Slaoui is President of AMH Group (Amicale Marocaine des Handicapés). Based in Casablanca, AMH seeks to improve accessibility and autonomy for people with disabilities in Morocco. In this video, Slaoui recalls the life-changing accident in 1992 which left her paraplegic and explains how she observed a lack of accessibility for people with disabilities in the country. She describes how this motivated her to join the AMH Group, working to ignite change with the government and in the mindset of the public.
