Replace Ceramic Soap Dish - or a Broken Tile - in Your Bathroom or Shower

I'll spare the details on how I broke the original soap dish in the first place, but I'd bet I'm not the only person to do this. Replacing it with a new one is not that difficult - the key is finding one that nests perfectly within the surrounding tiles. I find a close replacement - both in size and color - on Amazon for around $75. With a little time, patience, a grout saw/file, my trusty 5-in-1 tool, a small tub of grout, heavy duty Loctite adhesive — and a finishing touch of clear silicone/caulk — I removed the broken fixture and fitted in the replacement without much trouble. I think it came out great - no one would ever know it's not part of the original bathroom!
