Featuring not only the adventures of me and my fellow Guest of Honor Kijani, my main feature video of Anthro Northwest 2019 shows you over 70 other cuddly fursuiters out of a total of 1,612 attendees that came together for the 3rd edition of this family-friendly, a class-of-its-own anthropomorphic arts convention, held from November 21-24, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Seattle, WA. Over $6,500 were donated to our 2 charities, Sarvey Wildlife, specializing in rescue and caring for birds and Summit Assistance Dogs, providing cuddly companions for mobility-impaired persons.
I can’t speak highly enough of this convention, which has quickly become my favorite, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of the Pac-NW Furry community and most importantly, all incredibly kind volunteers who work hard to provide a world-class con experience.
This video gives you an insight into a weekend full of fluffy fun and takes you through the convention spaces on the 6th and 7th floor of the Hyatt Regency, our first-time in this brand-new venue that is also the largest hotel in the Pacific Northwest. Among lots of cuddly critters posing for my camera, witness how my camera got stolen by a bird and Majira Strawberry’s struggles with my name, learn about Taebyn’s plans after winning an award at the Anthronational Film Festival, watch how grown-up critters behave in a ballpit, share an elevator ride with Uncle Kage and finally see an example why Kijani and Kitwana Lion have been the rightful Guests of Honor this year as they devoted some of their time for a private meet & greet to a special needs fursuiter.
I couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who contributes to making the dream of Anthro Northwest a reality. From our cuddly wolf mascot, to all panelists, vendors, staff and volunteers, the hospitality of the Hyatt Regency Seattle and my fellow GoH and awesome friend Kijani, they all made sure I had an outstanding experience that will make me want to return for years to come!
