Experience a day in the life as an automotive / diesel technology student at Universal Technical Institute (UTI) with Britton Bowen as he takes you through each hour of his day.
This Day in the Life video was filmed in 2016. In response to the COVID pandemic, UTI now offers all of its lecture courses through distance learning only. Students attend hands-on lab training on campus in compliance with local and national COVID safety precautions, including mandatory masks.
From arriving for his first class at 7:30 a.m. to diagnosing vehicles in his hands-on labs and working his part-time job afterward, Britton displays what it's like to live the life of a UTI student. See Britton work in classes like diagnostics to get a feel for what it's like to attend UTI.
The curricula prepared at UTI schools is geared toward all students interested in joining today's automotive or diesel workforces. No previous mechanic experience is required. Our students span from having zero prior automotive knowledge to those who come from a family of mechanics and are looking to further their abilities.
