What’s the movie The World’s End about?
In 1990, five friends celebrated the end of their high school years with a highly alcoholic tour of the twelve pubs in their village of Newton Haven. But the tour goes wrong and the last bar is never reached, so Gary (Simon Pegg from Mission: Impossible), the band's leader, gets very frustrated. Twenty years later, he still lives in the memory of that night and decides to call his friends back to get them out of their tidy lives and finally finish their tour by reaching the famous bar The World's End. But during a fight that they start with a group of young people, they realize that they explode when they are hit, that they have blue ink as blood, that they continue to live even if they are decapitated and dismembered, and that they quickly rebuild themselves. The group of friends are beginning to understand that aliens have taken over the city by cloning its inhabitants and controlling their behavior in order to instill in them the good feelings that humanity has lacked until now.
