Lou Diamond Phillips Arrested For DWI

Us Weekly reports that La Bamba actor, Lou Diamond Phillips was arrested on November 3. Police believe that he was driving while intoxicated. He reportedly asked a police officer to direct him to his high school, which he graduated from in 1980. The 55-year-old actor was taken into custody in Portland, Texas early Friday morning after failing sobriety tests. Us Weekly says that his blood alcohol concentration was "more than double the legal limit" in Texas. He was jailed and released on bond after a couple of hours. Phillips was scheduled to speak at an event in Corpus Christi on Friday night.
