We use a General Chemistry Kinetics problem: Determine Order of Reaction; but Linear Regression can be worked out similarly for other data sets.

NOTE I am using r^2 (correlation coefficient) Very Loosely here. For textbook problems this may be ok since we have "model" data, and differences in plots are rather evident. You definitely would like to check other statistics tools (e.g., Residuals plots, Runs, etc.) for more complicated problems.
