So what kind of therapy do I do? It is a unique Nili blend of 6 modalities
1. Narrative Therapy
2. Shadow Work
3. NVC
4. Psychosomatic & Metaphysical
5. EFT Tapping
6. Kabbalistic, Spiritual, Torah wisdom angle.
NARRATIVE THERAPY:
is based on two premises-
One, there are two experts in the room.
I am the expert in listening and questioning,
you are the expert in yourself.
This understanding creates a healthy dynamic
where we believe that the answers are within you, that we can trust you, and there is no therapist pedestaling...
Two, we believe in externalizing,
that means a person is a person, and a problem is a problem.

SHADOW WORK:
Shadow work is based on the work of Carl Jung and Rebbe Nachman, and is a process of uncovering subconscious beliefs, bringing them into the light, and learning to love and accept the all of ourselves, the "hakol sheli," unconditionally.
NON VIOLENT COMMUNICATION:
NVC, based off the work of Marshall Rosenberg, is a system of communication which helps us understand our feelings and needs, and unpack the worst of our judgments. He teaches that a judgment is a tragic expression of an unmet need... this is a super fun and profound process that I love walking clients through in the right times.
PSYCHOSOMATICS AND METAPHYSICS:
I help clients understand how the body is a dashboard for the soul. We can often alleviate and heal physical pains in the body, from headaches, to backaches, bloating... basically anything flaring in your body will tell us a story of what you are needing emotionally... and its really incredible to witness peoples pain release...
EFT TAPPING:
EFT is emotional freedom technique and works by bypassing the brain, the mind, and allowing access to deeper places in the psyche by co-tapping through the Chinese energy meridians... it is a wonderful exercise that I use with clients especially if hysteria, panic or anxiety are presenting strong during a session, or if we find ourselves a stuck point... tapping has an incredible way of bringing up ideas that were laying dormant and rise right to the surface to be seen.
FINALLY, KABBALAH, TORAH and SPIRITUALITY:
Now, first off, we can leave this all behind. I have clients where we don't talk about God or spirituality to honor their preferences. AND, yet, Torah wisdom is my other field of expertise. I have a bachelors and a Masters connected to religious studies and philosophy, and have been studying it deeply for twenty years... Sometimes incorporating this wisdom, and incorporating prayer can add the sweetest depth and extra layers of meaning to whatever my clients are going through.
Now you won't be aware that all of these modalities are at play, you might experience it as a 'regular therapy session,' but what's different is how you will feel about yourself and your life after...
