Jobs Command in Linux
In this video we go over the jobs command and how to control jobs in the terminal. We cover all of the ways that you can control command line jobs in Linux as-well as how to use nohup for hangup immune background jobs. We also cover bg and fg usage to bring jobs to the foreground or send jobs to the background. We also cover how to use kill to send different kill signals to background jobs.

At it's simplest a job is a single command. Like ls. A job could also be something more complex like a pipeline, this would also be classified as a job or even a shell script.
