Replace your Florescent Kitchen Lights with LEDs :: Home Renovation

My Florescent Kitchen Lighting is
My Florescent Kitchen Lighting is about 40 years old and the ballasts just went out of both fixtures, so it is the perfect time to replace them.
I replaced them with 2 5600 lumen LED Fixtures from Lowes, but you can find similar ones here.

Replacing the lighting in and of itself is not that difficult, but I did have to extend the 2 initial drops the the right location, which meant having to drill through 2 floor joists (since I have a 2 story house) in order to run the Romex to the correct location
I am not an electrician, but the wiring was fairly basic and I was confident that I was able to do the work. If you are unsure about any electrical that you are working on, please consult with a professional.
