हिंदू धर्म के लोग इस लोक आस्था के महापर्व छठ को बहुत धूमधाम से और पूरी शुद्धता एवं पवित्रता के साथ मनाते हैं.. वहीं इस पर्व पर हिंदू मुस्लिम एकता देखने को मिली है... पटना के गोलघर के पास रहने वाली नजमा खातून पिछले 9 सालों से छठ महापर्व को करते आ रही हैं... नजमा पूरी शुद्धता पवित्रता और विधि विधान के साथ छठ को करती है... नगमा के घर में मजार भी है, नगमा जहां पर छठ कर रही है वहां पर अल्लाह का भी तस्वीर लगा हुआ है, लेकिन छठ के प्रति आस्था इतनी है कि नजमा छठ पर्व को छोड़ना नहीं चाहती हैं...
