Muhammad al-Durrah: the image that shocked the world

Twenty years ago today, 12-year-old Muhammad al-Durrah was killed by Israeli gunfire as his father tried to shield him from bullets.

The footage was broadcast around the world and became the defining image of the Second Intifada
