Decorah North Eagles ~ Mr North & DNF Protect Their Fledglings & Chase Off Subadult Intruder 6.20.24

DN17 is seen perched in a tree and when the cam pans out we catch the action with Mr North chasing off a sub adult intruder who was interested in stealing the food that was recently brought in for DN17 & DN18. They both protect their territory, the fledglings and the food from the sub adult by knocking him off the stump branch into the water, not once but twice!

Mr North & DNF didn't want to take any chances with the intruder stealing the food so they went into protection mode to chase him out of the territory. The sub adult will fly off and land in the grass in the pasture and a couple minutes later will fly off on its own. Thank you for watching!
