Have you ever wondered what
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to arrive at work by helicopter and be on an oil rig for two to three weeks at a time? Whether you work offshore or at an onshore business, the shift pattern could also see you enjoying up to three weeks free time at home.
For those who secure a place on the Oil and Gas Technical Apprentice Programme (OGTAP)this could be your normal working pattern when you are on the work-site.
For first and second years, it could be your first time away from home. As well as meeting lots of new people also in the same boat, the OPITO and ECITB mentors will provide ongoing support.
You’ll also have your accommodation paid and arranged for you, all your meals looked after, and receive a salary.
